Enjoy a truffled cheese infused with the flavour of our English Autumn truffles. Choose from Somerset Brie or Hampshire Tunworth.
|Somerset Brie is creamy with a mild, fresh flavour and a soft edible white rind. The curd is the colour of straw, and as it ripens from the outside in, it becomes softer, richer and with a fuller flavour.||Hampshire Tunworth is a British Camembert – a soft, white-rinded cheese wonderfully reminiscent of its French cousin. It has a soft, thin and wrinkled rind, a rich fragrance and a sweet nutty flavour.|

We cut the cheese in half horizontally, then shave on to one half a generous amount of truffles, before reassembling, wrapping in cling film and storing in the fridge for several days. The truffle flavour is infused into the cheese. The weight of truffles we add is 6.67% of the weight of the cheese, for example a 200g piece of Somerset Brie would have 13 grams of truffle added.

The truffle infused Somerset Brie went down a treat at the dinner party last night.
Serving ideas for truffled cheese:
- Serve at room temperature on cheese biscuits or with a crusty baguette.
- Wrap in foil and bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is hot and molten. Serve immediately with slices of crunchy baguette.
- Dip in flour, eggs, then breadcrumbs. Fry in very hot oil until golden. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil and serve warm with a fruit sauce or jam (raspberry, red currant etc.).
To store, keep the truffled cheese in the warmest (or lowest) part of your fridge until approximately one hour before serving.
