Delivery Information

Please note, we generally only supply goods to UK, Channel Island and Isle of Man addresses. We can send truffle trees to EU addresses. For details, please see the box on this page.

The No shipping charge option applies to products that are sent electronically (gift vouchers), event bookings (truffle hunting experience days and truffle dog training workshops) or when you would like to collect your goods (shavers, books, trees, truffles etc.) at one of our events which you are booked on. If you chose this but your order needs to be sent to you, we will require the delivery fee before dispatching to you.

If you would like your goods sending to you then you must choose Standard or Express Delivery.

Please note that orders containing multiple items may be shipped in separate packages. Where your cart contains a range of items, separate delivery charges may apply.

Truffles are a fresh product and we aim to get them to you as fast as possible.

To ensure you have the freshest possible truffles, we do not hold any stock but will supply them when we next gather any – usually every Tuesday or Wednesday (in the season). This means in general, we do not send out truffles on the day that they are ordered. If you require them for a specific date, please order well in advance and put the details in the “Order notes” at the checkout considering the above schedule.

Express Delivery

Cost: £8.15
We use a Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed ® by 1pm (next working day) service*.  This delivery requires a signature and will not be left without it or taken to a neighbour etc. You can choose a different shipping address at the checkout and have your truffles delivered to another address such as your work.

* Exceptions apply to Highland and Island locations. See Postcodes and exceptions on this page for details.

When we have sent your truffles you will receive an email “Your order is complete”. This includes the tracking link. If you are not going to be in, on the day of delivery the Royal Mail tracking web page will be updated to include an “Update Delivery Options” button. Once you enter your delivery postcode, this allows you to change the delivery day and options to:

  • Redeliver to your address
  • Collect from a Post Office*
  • Collect from a Delivery Office*

* This Royal Mail web page can show you your nearest collection options and includes their opening hours. Do note that some post offices and delivery offices are only open for limited hours and that truffles are perishable so should not be left uncollected beyond the next day.

Regardless of which truffle tree delivery option you choose, you will be sent the tracking link so you can keep an eye on progress of your delivery.

England, Wales and Scottish mainland

Standard 7 Day Delivery (Evri (the new Hermes))
1 – 10 trees – £6.50
10 – 24 trees – £15.00
25+ trees – £25.00

Trees sent with this service will be delivered within 7 days of us processing your order. We are unable to state exactly the date that the tree(s) will be delivered. If you require them on a specific date, please use the Express delivery service.

A tracking link will be sent directly to you by Evri when the trees are dispatched. If you cannot find it, please do check you trash / spam folder prior to contacting us.

On the day of delivery, the tracking page will be updated to include an estimated time of arrival. You do not need to be in for the delivery. If the courier misses you they will make three attempts to deliver your parcel. You can specify a safe place (cool and dry) where the trees can be left or add details of a preferred neighbour on the Evri web site here or with the tracking link you will be sent (“Change delivery options” button).

Express Delivery (Parcelforce)
1 – 24 trees – £15.00
25+ trees – £25.00

Trees sent with express delivery should arrive within 2 working days for orders placed before 12 noon.

You will receive a tracking link from us when your order is complete. On the day of delivery, this will give you a one-hour time slot and the name of the delivery driver. A real-time map will allow you to check progress.

By default, this delivery service requires a signature. You can however choose to have your parcel delivered to a neighbour, a Post Office or left in a safe place (cool and dry) with the Parcelforce App.

Highland and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly

Trees sent with this service will be delivered within 7 days of us processing your order (usually much less).

You will receive a tracking link from us when your order is complete. On the day of delivery, this will give you a one-hour time slot and the name of the delivery driver. A real-time map will allow you to check progress.

By default, this delivery service requires a signature. You can however choose to have you parcel delivered to a neighbour, a Post Office or left in a safe place (cool and dry) with the Parcelforce App.

No Shipping Charge

This option can only be used when you would like to collect your trees at one of our events which you are booked on. If you choose this but your order needs to be sent to you, we will require payment for delivery before dispatching your trees. If you would like your trees sending, you must choose a paid delivery option.

Gift vouchers for Truffle Hunting, Truffle Trees and Truffles are all emailed automatically when your order is received. This means they will be with you straight-away, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

Please note, to be dispatched on the day you order, it must be placed by 12 noon (weekdays only). Occasionally, we may not be able to process your order the same day if we are out of the office.

Express Delivery

Cost: £4.00 – Royal Mail 1st Class Post. This service aims to deliver your book on the next working day.

Standard Delivery

Cost: £3.35 – Royal Mail 2nd Class Post. This service aims to deliver your book in 2 to 3 working days.

Whilst Royal Mail state that most items will be delivered within these timeframes it can occasionally take longer. Unfortunately, once the items are with Royal Mail we lose any influence and control over their delivery. We ask all customers to be patient when waiting for their products to arrive. If for some reason you have not received your product within a reasonable length of time then please don’t hesitate to contact us so we can look into it for you.

Due to the perishable nature of dog training truffles, we do not offer a standard delivery option.

Express Delivery

Cost: £5.50 – Royal Mail Signed For® 1st Class service.  This aims to deliver on the next working day, including Saturdays. This delivery requires a signature and will not be left without it or taken to a neighbour etc. You can choose a different shipping address at the checkout and have your truffles delivered to another address such as your work.

This option applies when you would like to collect your dog training truffles at one of our events which you are booked on. If you chose this but your order needs to be sent to you, we will require the delivery fee before dispatching to you.
